“Nestled in the vibrant, gay-friendly Juarez district, this hotel's colorful Mexican decor immediately sets it apart, creating a unique local ambience. While its proximity to both financial hubs and leisure attractions is appealing, some aspects like noise levels and room comfort appear inconsistent. For travelers prioritizing location and a taste of local culture, it's worth considering, but be mindful of potential drawbacks.”

Its location is ideal for exploring, with easy access to Reforma and the Insurgentes metro station; Roma Norte's restaurants and the Reforma 222 shopping center are also within walking distance. Acceptable Stay with a Significant Drawback

underwhelming stay
The room didn't quite match the photographs, and the stay felt underwhelming. The staff often seemed distracted. A warmer, more hospitable feeling was expected.

the location made it easy to explore the area. i could walk to roma norte and reforma 222 easily. the area felt safe. i was happy to find my room spacious and very clean.
i found the staff didn't give much information , though it was very late at night when i checked in. this made it slightly difficult to get my bearings initially , even though the check-in process itself was smooth.

charming stay, great area

good valuehelpful staffmorning coffeepoor lighting
I found great value for the money. A lot of options existed for coffee, lunch and street food near the hotel. the staff proved helpful (i even got a water bottle). the morning coffee offered in the lobby was a nice perk.
the room lighting was very poor. even with every light switched on, i struggled to read in the evenings. i wish a fridge had been available to store cold drinks.
Dining

nearby, i easily found numerous dining options. a healthy breakfast spot called 'as happy as larry juice bar' sat very close. there were plenty of choices for specialty coffee too.
Rooms
8/10
My room felt spacious and comfortable. it was more like an apartment (the tiles were a traditional touch). the bedding and towels were changed daily. The room got cleaned every day.
Service

the front desk was always very helpful. the staff seemed consistently happy. i appreciated the helpfulness of the staff (they were quick to assist).
